We’ve seen firsthand how coaches, athletic directors, and local businesses are trying to navigate the NIL landscape in a compliant way. From the rise of high school NIL collectives to local businesses crowdsourcing support, it’s clear there’s a need for structure. Most importantly, we’ve seen athletic directors and coaches struggle to keep up. Teams Route Elite was created to help high school athletic directors and coaches solve that challenge.
So what’s included in Teams Route Elite?
With Teams Route Elite, we are introducing a school-branded NIL marketplace and disclosure platform (through our partnership with Opendorse) for all student-athletes at your High School (unlimited), managed by our team. Yes, you heard that right. The same branded marketplace platform at universities like Oklahoma, Oregon, and Maryland will be open to High Schools through an innovated partnership lead by the Bedford Agency.
As part of Teams Route Elite our team will also serve as a trusted third party to ensure all NIL deals comply with state regulations at the High School level. Yes, you heard that right—a compliant NIL marketplace via Opendorse for high schools and club teams, without having to create a collective! This gives administrators, coaches, parents, student-athletes, and brands the opportunity to engage with NIL the right way.
Additionally, we provide a year-long services retainer for the school that includes on-call NIL and college recruiting support. The package also includes two workshops per year:
- One training workshop for coaches and administrators on NIL or college recruiting
- One NIL community education night for parents, brands, students, and coaches
- Plus each member of the staff will have access to a premium subscription to Run Your Route our premium Substack newsletter
Cost for Teams Route Elite is $7,500 annually per school.
For all Oklahoma high schools, The Bedford Agency serves as the official NIL partner of the OSSAA. Since October 2022, the Bedford Agency and OSSAA have partnered to remain at the forefront of NIL and college recruiting. Through this partnership, the Bedford Agency offers the Teams Route Elite turnkey third-party NIL marketplace and disclosure service—combined with policy advisement, rules interpretation and training, contract guidance, and ongoing counsel for athletic departments and school districts. We also provide updated content, host educational seminars, and regularly present at state events on behalf of the OSSAA.
